1:1 Intermediate Lost Wax Workshop: 6 hours

1:1 Intermediate Lost Wax Workshop: 6 hours

£450.00

Would you like a full exploration of the Lost Wax Technique?

This workshop is primarily aimed at jewellery designers who want to venture into the world of Lost Wax carving and casting, or ambitious beginners.

Workshop outline

An intensive day exploring the wax as a medium to create one-off, unique, sculptural designs. We will cover everything involved, from the tools, techniques and ways to play and experiment, to suppliers.

Think of this workshop as a crash course in becoming a wax carving expert, and jewellery designer, covering all you need to know to start creating.

As it is a one-to-one workshop, it is all about you and what you want to make and learn. But equally, I can lead the way if you are not sure where to begin.

I will share my knowledge and experience, and demonstrate the techniques and tricks I’ve learned to use. Often these are things that took me years to discover and figure out in the process of making, helping fast-forward your ability to create more successful designs.

My aim is to inspire you to create your own unique jewellery, giving you the foundations and confidence to explore the medium.

This workshop is less about making one finished piece and more about exploring and asking questions and comes with 2 months of mentoring support.

I'm happy to chat over the phone afterwards and answer your emails, helping to resolve issues and problems you may come across when putting all the different ideas into action.
